Department Of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology

• Department has a good infrastructure and dedicated staffs
• The students get training in various legal procedures, professional ethics and etiquette, mechanical injuries, post-mortem changes, toxicology, etc.
• Practicals include identification of bones, dactylography, age estimation, identification of toxicology specimens and poisons, etc.
• Students learn various certificate writing.
• Students witness autopsy as per the guidelines of CCH.
• The Department has Museum consisting Charts, models, weapons and poisons.
